The 70th Foundation Day of Madhya Pradesh will be celebrated with grandeur under the theme Abhyudaya Madhya Pradesh, marking the state's journey of progress and cultural pride. The celebrations at Lal Parade Ground, Bhopal, will feature a vibrant Crafts Fair showcasing ; Ek Jila - Ek Utpad' (One District - One Product) displays and sales, alongside the Swaad: Deshaj Cuisine Fair and a range of thematic exhibitions.
The festivities will be preceded by Purvarang on 30 - 31 October 2025 at the Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology, Bhopal, featuring a Drone Tech Workshop and Expo, as well as cultural tours across the city.
* From 1 November onwards, evenings from 6:30 pm will bring a spectacular Drone Show: Development from Heritage, followed by Musical Journey of Lord Krishna, and Sugam Sangeet performances by Jubin Nautiyal & Group, accompanied by fireworks.
* On 2 November, audiences will witness 'Samrat Vikramaditya: Mahanatya', directed by Sanjeev Malviya, and a soulful musical evening by renowned artist Hansraj Raghuvanshi & Partners from Chandigarh.
* The celebrations will continue on 3 November with 'Samrat Vikramaditya: Mahanatya', and a melodious performance by Musical Talent of Sneha Shankar & Group from Mumbai.
* Adding to the cultural vibrancy, tribal and folk dance performances will be held from 2-3 November, starting at 3 pm. The entire event will be broadcast through the official handles of the MP Culture Department and Jansampark MP.
Organised by the Government of Madhya Pradesh in coordination with the Directorate of Culture, Bhopal, the celebration welcomes everyone to participate in honouring the spirit and legacy of Madhya Pradesh.
